Jasprit Bumrah sets multiple cricket records against Afghanistan

Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has achieved multiple significant milestones during the second T20 International against Afghanistan in Delhi.

Bumrah became the first bowler in history to take at least 50 wickets in all three international formats—Test, ODI, and T20I—within India. His current tally in India includes 62 Test wickets, 64 ODI wickets, and 50 T20I wickets. During the match, he claimed his 50th T20I wicket in India by dismissing Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi.

Additionally, Bumrah set a new world record for the most maiden overs by a bowler from an ICC Full Member nation in T20 International cricket. By bowling a maiden in the opening over of the innings, he reached a total of 13 maiden overs, surpassing the previous record of 12 held jointly by Richard Ngarava of Zimbabwe.
