Jastrzębie-Zdrój hosts grand finale of international jazz workshops

The III International Big Band Workshops concluded with a grand finale in Jastrzębie-Zdrój, Poland. Held at Łaźnia Moszczenica on Sunday, August 23, the event featured high-level jazz performances and improvisation.

The finale served as the culmination of a week of intensive training that began on August 17, where musicians worked under the guidance of established educators and artists to improve rhythm, interpretation, and ensemble playing. The evening included performances by workshop participants, small ensembles, and a headline performance by the Big Band Śląski, conducted by Professor Grzegorz Nagórski.

Notable jazz artists performing at the event included Urszula Dudziak, Aga Zaryan, Luis Bonilla, Anthony Strong, and Joel Barford.
