Jatiwaringin Landfill waste volume exceeds 233,000 tons in 2026

The Jatiwaringin Landfill in Tangerang Regency has recorded a significant increase in waste volume, reaching 233,548.6 tons through the third quarter of 2026. This figure exceeds the management targets previously set by the Tangerang Regency Environmental Affairs and Cleanliness Department (DLHK).

Data shows a consistent upward trend throughout the year. Waste management rose from 181,768.16 tons in the first quarter to 216,884.56 tons in the third quarter. On average, the facility processes approximately 25,949.84 tons per month, or roughly 1,081.24 tons per day. The highest daily volume was recorded in September 2026, with monthly totals reaching 29,380.96 tons. Most waste is transported via truck, though smaller vehicles like pickups and carts also contribute to the total volume.
