Jauja highway emergency repairs enter final phase

Emergency roadworks on the Jauja highway are entering their final phase to restore full traffic and safety. The project, overseen by the Lucena City Council and the Junta de Andalucía, aims to permanently repair damage caused by heavy rainfall during the early months of the year.

Local officials, including Lucena Mayor Aurelio Fernández and the Junta de Andalucía's territorial delegate for Development, Carmen Granados, recently inspected the sites. Current efforts are focused on sections with significant stability issues that required complex technical solutions. The works are part of a broader set of emergency actions managed by the regional administration in the southern part of the Córdoba province.
