Javier Bardem and Marion Cotillard join ‘The Turning Door’ cast

Oscar-winning actors Javier Bardem, Marion Cotillard, and Vanessa Redgrave have joined the voice cast of the upcoming animated family fantasy film, ‘The Turning Door’. The film is written and directed by Nicholas Ashe Bateman.

Other cast members include Alicia Vikander, Jamie Dornan, Jodie Turner-Smith, Bill Nighy, and Gillian Anderson. New additions to the production also feature Swedish composer Anna von Hausswolff and newcomer Pippa Kelly. The cast will perform original music and songs composed by Claire Givens and Bateman.

The story follows a young girl who discovers a mysterious box that transforms into a door, leading her into a magical world called ‘The Transformation’. She must navigate a land of alchemy and strange creatures to save her parents and return home. Production is currently underway, and Mister Smith Entertainment plans to present new footage to international buyers at the upcoming TIFF market.
