Javier Bardem receives lifetime achievement award in Rome

Spanish actor Javier Bardem was honored with a lifetime achievement award at the Rome Film Festival. The prestigious recognition was presented to him by Italian director Paolo Sorrentino, who expressed great honor in celebrating the actor’s career.

During the festival, Bardem also promoted his new film, “El ser querido,” directed by Rodrigo Sorogoyen. The film, which previously premiered at Cannes, features Bardem in a leading role. In his acceptance speech, Bardem joked about his limited Italian language skills and stated that awards should be received, celebrated, and then forgotten to allow for continued growth and professional justification.
