Javier “Chicharito” Hernández urges Gilberto Mora to move to Europe

Former Mexico striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernández used Instagram Stories to answer fan questions, saying he hopes Gilberto Mora – described as “one of the best talents we have” – will be allowed to transfer to Europe as soon as possible and that his price should not be an obstacle. He noted that after the 2026 World Cup the 17‑year‑old’s market value rose to more than $28 million.

In the same session Hernández praised teammate Armando "Hormiga" González, affirmed he has not retired from the national team, and recalled his last appearance for Mexico on 6 September 2019 against the United States. He is currently without a club after leaving Chivas on 11 December 2025 and said he will announce his next destination “very soon.”
