Andalusia Forms Coalition Government with Vox Ministers for First Time

Juanma Moreno, president of the Junta de Andalucía, appointed two Vox members to his new cabinet, marking the party's first participation in the regional executive. Manuel Gavira became second vice‑president and minister for Tourism, Deregulation, Justice and Local Administration. Other Vox appointees took charge of new portfolios such as Housing, Youth and Territorial Planning, and Artificial Intelligence, Development Digital and Public Administration.

Following Gavira’s promotion, Vox reorganised its parliamentary group: Javier Cortés, a Sevilla deputy and economist, was named the new spokesperson of the Vox group in the Andalusian Parliament, replacing Gavira. Rodrigo Alonso and Paula Badanelli were confirmed as deputy spokespersons.

The party also selected the historic “Casa Rosa” building in Seville as its administrative headquarters in the Junta, consolidating its presence in the regional government.

Vox representatives, including spokesperson Carolina España, downplayed any ideological clashes, emphasizing cooperation on climate policy and budget implementation. Sevilla’s municipal finance chief Juan Bueno affirmed that the city’s budget agreement with Vox is being fulfilled “to the letter.”
