Javier Faroni files criminal complaint against Guillermo Tofoni

Javier Faroni, an entrepreneur linked to TourProdenter, has filed a criminal complaint against Guillermo Tofoni, head of World Eleven, alleging false testimony and procedural fraud. The complaint, presented to Judge Alfredo Godoy, claims Tofoni used confidential banking information obtained in the United States to drive criminal investigations in Argentina.

Faroni’s legal team argues that Tofoni exceeded the limits set by a Delaware District Court ruling. According to the defense, Judge Richard Andrews established that financial documentation obtained through the Discovery mechanism could not be used outside the specific commercial litigation for which it was requested. The defense contends that Tofoni presented this information to Argentine prosecutors and judges without disclosing these legal restrictions, allegedly claiming under oath that there were no limitations on providing such data.

The dispute is connected to international commercial contracts involving the Argentine Football Association (AFA) and ongoing legal challenges regarding the management of AFA President Claudio Tapia.
