Javier Gandolfi renews contract with Club León until 2027

Club León has officially extended the contract of Argentine manager Javier Gandolfi until December 2027. The decision, confirmed by club president Jesús Martínez Murguía, aims to provide stability to the team's sporting project.

Since taking over in March 2026, Gandolfi has led the team to a fifth-place position in the Liga MX Apertura 2026 tournament. Under his leadership, the club also secured third place in the Leagues Cup, which earned them a spot in the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup.

Gandolfi currently holds a 66.67% effectiveness rate with 14 wins, two draws, and six losses in 22 matches. The renewal comes ahead of a significant upcoming match against league leaders Club América at the Estadio Nou Camp.
