Javier Hernández says he would have retired at Manchester United and defends Cristiano Ronaldo

Mexican striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernández revealed in an interview that, if he could choose, he would have preferred to end his playing career at Manchester United rather than at his boyhood club Chivas de Guadalajara. He highlighted his five‑year spell at Old Trafford, where he played 157 matches, scored 59 goals and won two Premier League titles, as the most meaningful period of his career.

He also used the same interview to defend former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo against accusations of arrogance. Hernández praised Ronaldo’s character, professionalism and confidence, saying he has never considered the Portuguese star arrogant and that his self‑belief is a driver of his success.
