López stated that the coach’s behavior made him lose his motivation to play, noting that he felt he had to step aside because he no longer enjoyed the game. He described the coach as ‘very false’ and criticized the practice of being relegated to the Under-23 squad without any explanation.

While López did not explicitly name the coach in his comments, reports suggest the individual may be Jaime Lozano, who managed the team during López's tenure. López contrasted this experience with his time under Guillermo Almada, noting that while Almada also utilized lower categories, he provided clear communication regarding the player's development and rhythm.
