Fátima Flórez attends Keiko Fujimori's inauguration, Argentina denies official role

Actress and imitator Fátima Flórez was present at the inauguration of Peru's president Keiko Fujimori in Lima, where Argentine President Javier Milei also took part. Argentine officials clarified that Flórez was invited personally by Fujimori, was not part of the Argentine presidential delegation, did not travel on the presidential aircraft and financed the trip herself without public funds.

Flórez posted on Instagram from the ceremony, describing the appearance as a "coincidence" and emphasizing her friendship with Fujimori while denying any romantic involvement with Milei. The incident revived rumors of a possible reconciliation between the comedian and the Argentine president, which both parties and the Argentine government officially dismissed.

The clarification was issued after media reports linked the simultaneous presence of Flórez and Milei to personal speculation, prompting the Casa Rosada to stress that the invitation was private and unrelated to any diplomatic agenda.
