Javier Milei approval drops in La Rioja

A private national consultancy has reported a significant decline in the approval ratings of President Javier Milei in the province of La Rioja. Despite securing 58.27 percent of the vote in the 2023 runoff election in the region, recent data indicates that nearly seven out of ten residents in La Rioja no longer support the President.

In contrast to Milei's previous performance, Axel Kicillof currently holds a better image in the province. Officials at Casa Rosada have attributed this abrupt drop in support to Martín Menem and Gino Visconti.
