Javier Milei claims 30,000 terrorists have been deported from Argentina

Argentine Deputy Maximiliano Ferraro of the Civic Coalition has requested official explanations from the government regarding statements made by President Javier Milei concerning the deportation of 30,000 individuals labeled as ‘terrorists’.

In a recent interview, President Milei claimed that 10,000 such individuals were expelled last year and that 20,000 have been deported so far this year, alleging these people ‘infiltrate from other countries’ to ‘dynamite the Argentine model’.

Ferraro has filed a formal request for public information and reports from the Ministry of Security and the National Directorate of Migration. The legislator seeks to clarify how many people were actually expelled, how many were deported specifically for terrorism-related causes under Law 25.871, and how many appear on the Public Registry of Persons and Entities Linked to Acts of Terrorism and its Financing (RePET).
