Belén Esteban returns to Telecinco with record viewership

Belén Esteban has made a high-profile return to Telecinco after a three-year absence, appearing on the program ‘De Viernes!’. Her return has significantly boosted the network's viewership, with the program achieving a 19.7% share and over 1.2 million viewers, marking one of its best historical performances.

During her live appearance, Esteban addressed ongoing personal conflicts, specifically responding to a legal communiqué from Jesulín de Ubrique and María José Campanario. She also discussed her relationship with her daughter, Andrea Janeiro, noting that Andrea has blocked her father and his family due to years of perceived absences and emotional neglect. The appearance was marked by intense interactions with various collaborators, including heated exchanges with Beatriz Trapote.

In addition to the Esteban coverage, RTVE’s La 1 has expanded its weekend programming with the launch of ‘Cosas nuestras’, a new live format hosted by Aida Bao and Aitor Albizua, aimed at providing news and entertainment to viewers on Saturdays and Sundays.
