Javier Olaizola joins CD Eldense on loan from RCD Mallorca

RCD Mallorca have sent 19‑year‑old central defender Javier Olaizola on loan to Segunda División side CD Eldense. The Mallorca B product, who logged about 1,300 minutes for the reserve team and made his La Liga debut in the final two matches of last season, was announced by Eldense as a reinforcement for their defensive line.

Eldense described Olaizola as an intelligent centre‑back capable of playing out from the back. The move comes as Mallorca consider further changes to their back‑line, with reports that defender David López may also be on the exit list, leaving the club with limited options in central defence.
