Javier Rodríguez Wins Three Eisner Awards at 2026 Comic-Con Ceremony

Spanish artist Javier Rodríguez was the standout winner at the 2026 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards held during San Diego Comic‑Con. He received three trophies – Best Limited Series, Best Penciller/Inker and Best Cover Artist – for his work on the DC title Absolute Martian Manhunter. collaborator Deniz Camp also earned two awards, sharing Best Limited Series for the same book and winning Best New Series for Assorted Crisis Events. The ceremony, often called the Oscars of comics, also presented honors such as the Bill Finger Award, the Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer Award, and the Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award, among many category winners across the industry.
