Javier Rosada appointed Director of General Medicine at Livorno Hospital

Dr. Javier Rosada has been appointed as the Director of General Medicine at the Livorno Hospital, part of the Azienda USL Toscana nord ovest. The appointment follows a public Estar competition based on qualifications and interviews, where Rosada placed first with a significant margin over the second candidate.

Rosada has served as the acting deputy director since March 1, 2025. His new five-year term is intended to provide continuity to the department's development, specifically regarding the management of complex patients, integration with the Emergency Room, and collaboration with other hospital and territorial structures.

In his statement, Rosada expressed pride and a sense of responsibility toward the community, noting that the unit serves the most densely populated municipality and province within the Azienda USL Toscana nord ovest. He also acknowledged his predecessor, Dr. Alberto Camaiti, for his previous work.
