Jawor hosts 58th Rajd Jaworski cycling and hiking rally

The PTTK Ziemia Jaworska branch organized the 58th Rajd Jaworski, the oldest event of its kind in the region, which has been held continuously since 1968. The event, named after the late Henryk Antkowiak, featured both hiking and cycling routes through the Kaczawskie Mountains and Foothills.

Participants included youth groups, experienced hikers, and cyclists participating in the 21st Shimanko Kolarze rally. Despite unfavorable weather forecasts, the event proceeded with scheduled activities, including a summary meeting in Myślibórz. The gathering featured demonstrations by firefighters from Paszowice and Olszanica, who provided first aid training, as well as presentations on motor gliding. The event concluded with traditional competitions and games.
