Jay White renames new AEW faction to The Cut

Following the alliance of The Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs, Jay White has announced that the new supergroup will be known as ‘The Cut’. The name change occurred during the October 24 episode of AEW Collision, replacing the previously announced name, ‘The Last Outfit’, following fan criticism on social media.

During a promo, White described the group as the ‘last outfit capable of slicing the Death Riders from the heart of AEW’. The faction currently consists of seven members and has positioned itself against The Death Riders and The Conglomeration. Potential future developments include the recruitment of new members and a possible appearance in an ‘Anarchy In The Arena’ match at AEW Full Gear on November 14 in Phoenix, Arizona.
