Jay-Z performs sold-out Paris stadium show and loses legal appeal

Jay-Z celebrated his 30-year hip-hop career with a sold-out performance at the Stade de France in Paris, attracting approximately 75,000 fans. The concert featured surprise appearances by longtime collaborators Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams. Timberlake joined the rapper for performances of “Holy Grail” and “Until the End of Time,” while Pharrell performed several tracks, including “Frontin’.”

Separately, a California appeals court has ruled against Jay-Z in his legal battle with attorney Tony Buzbee. The court upheld the dismissal of Jay-Z’s lawsuit, which had accused Buzbee of extortion and defamation following allegations of sexual assault involving a minor. The judges determined that Buzbee’s communications were protected by litigation privilege and found no evidence that the attorney acted with malice or reckless disregard for the truth regarding the claims he investigated.
