Jay-Z reportedly to headline 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show

Rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z has reportedly selected himself to headline the Super Bowl LXI halftime show, scheduled for February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

According to reports from Puck News, Jay-Z emerged as the preferred choice over other potential candidates, including Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and Harry Styles. While the National Football League (NFL) and Roc Nation have not officially confirmed the booking, the move is seen as a significant development given Jay-Z’s existing role. Since 2019, his company, Roc Nation, has partnered with the NFL to serve as the league’s live music entertainment strategist and co-producer of the halftime show.

If confirmed, this would mark Jay-Z’s first time performing as the halftime headliner, though his wife, Beyoncé, previously headlined the event in 2013. The potential performance coincides with major milestones in his career, including the 30th anniversary of his debut album, ‘Reasonable Doubt’, and the 25th anniversary of ‘The Blueprint’.
