Jayapura Regency and PT Palma Pertiwi Makmur sign food and energy MoU

PT Palma Pertiwi Makmur (PPM) and the Jayapura Regency government have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Jakarta to support national food and energy sovereignty. The agreement, signed by PPM President Director Mardianto and Jayapura Regent Yunus Wonda on October 9, 2026, serves as an initial step for a Government-Business Cooperation (KPBU) scheme through an unsolicited business initiative.

Mardianto stated that while the cooperation begins with Jayapura, the company's operations span all 38 provinces in Indonesia. He emphasized that the partnership aims to contribute to national independence in the food and energy sectors through a spirit of mutual cooperation between the government and business entities.
