Jayci Goolsby diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer

Jayci Goolsby, a 23-year-old Master's student in Athletic Training at Tarleton State University, has been diagnosed with stage 4 rare liver cancer.

For months, Goolsby attributed her extreme exhaustion, dizziness, nausea, and gastrointestinal issues to the stress and sleep deprivation associated with her demanding academic schedule. She initially believed her symptoms were merely signs of physical overexertion. However, medical imaging eventually revealed the advanced stage of the disease, prompting her to share her experience as a warning regarding the importance of distinguishing between routine fatigue and serious medical signals.
