NFL cuts London ticket prices for Colts-Commanders game

The NFL has slashed ticket prices for the upcoming matchup between the Washington Commanders and Indianapolis Colts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Originally priced as high as £245 ($325), remaining tickets have been reduced to as low as £79 ($105) in an effort to boost sales and ensure stadium attendance does not fall below 60,000 for the first time. This move has drawn criticism from fans who purchased tickets at full price earlier this summer, with some claiming the league prioritizes television aesthetics over fan loyalty.

On the field, the Washington Commanders are managing significant roster challenges ahead of the game. Quarterback Jayden Daniels has traveled to London and returned to practice in a limited capacity following a second elbow dislocation in four games. While his availability for Sunday remains uncertain, head coach Dan Quinn noted that Daniels is working through the recovery process. Backup Marcus Mariota, who recently led the team to a victory over the Seattle Seahawks, remains a key figure in the Commanders' offensive plans. The team is also dealing with injuries to the linebacker position, including a season-ending injury to Leo Chenal.
