Jayden Daniels set to return for Commanders against Giants
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is set to return for the Week 5 matchup against the New York Giants after missing two games due to a dislocated elbow. Offensive coordinator David Blough confirmed Daniels is “full go” with no on-field limitations, though the quarterback will wear an elbow brace. Daniels opted to forego immediate surgery to remain available for the season, despite reports suggesting he may require a procedure during the offseason.
The Commanders (1-3) host the Giants (3-1) at Northwest Stadium. While the Giants are currently leading the NFC East, they are playing without starting quarterback Jaxson Dart, who suffered a season-ending knee injury. Backup Jameis Winston has led the team in Dart's absence.
On the Giants' injury report, running back Cam Skattebo has been cleared to play, while defensive lineman Chauncey Golston (neck) and safety Jason Pinnock (concussion) are ruled out for Sunday's game.
