Jayden Reed recovering after neck injury during Packers game

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed is recovering following a neck injury sustained during the opening series of a game against the New York Jets. Reed was taken off the field on a stretcher after a helmet-to-helmet hit and was hospitalized for evaluation.

Coach Matt LaFleur reported that Reed had movement in all extremities. Reed later shared an update on social media stating he is “doing much better” and expressed appreciation for the support. His fiancée, Aneisha Cox, described his recovery as a “day-by-day type of recovery.”

Reed has been ruled out for the upcoming game against the Falcons. To address his absence in the slot, the Packers are looking toward Skyy Moore, whom quarterback Jordan Love expressed confidence in regarding his ability to find voids in defensive coverage.
