Jaylen McGill steps up for UNC following Benjamin Hall injury

North Carolina running back Jaylen McGill played a pivotal role in the Tar Heels’ 24-20 victory over the Duke Blue Devils. McGill, a sophomore, scored the game-winning touchdown despite a third-quarter fumble earlier in the contest.

The performance comes at a critical time for the UNC backfield. Leading rusher Benjamin Hall exited the game on an early drive due to a hamstring injury. While Hall’s availability for upcoming games remains uncertain, McGill’s readiness and ability to recover from mistakes have positioned him as a key option for the team's rushing attack.
