Jaylen Warren remains featured player for Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy has designated running back Jaylen Warren as the team’s featured offensive player. This follows Warren’s dominant performance in a 34-22 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, where he recorded 101 rushing yards and two touchdowns, including an 80-yard reception and a 50-yard run.
Warren has been a primary offensive weapon over the last three weeks, totaling 490 scrimmage yards. McCarthy emphasized the importance of continuing to put Warren in positions to make plays, noting that his current momentum is a priority for the coaching staff.
Running back Rico Dowdle is expected to return soon from a toe injury. While there was speculation regarding a potential split in workload upon Dowdle's return, McCarthy indicated that Warren remains the focal point of the rushing attack.
