Jayson John Davey, formerly John Patrick Davy, the founder of Tremendous Trivia Night Productions in Kelowna, filed a lawsuit on May 26, 2026 against Stephen Smith, Brady Grumpelt and People Over Phones Inc. Davey, a former Grade 6 teacher convicted in 2014 of distributing and possessing child pornography and sentenced in 2018 to 26 months in jail, claims the information was disclosed in early February 2026 despite a confidentiality agreement.
