Jay-Z marks 30th anniversary of “Reasonable Doubt” with NYC events

June 25 2026 marked the 30th anniversary of Jay‑Z’s debut album Reasonable Doubt. To celebrate, Roc Nation staged pop‑up installations across Brooklyn and Manhattan, including a recreation of iconic photographs at 92 Plymouth Street and an interactive J‑&‑Z subway line takeover at Bowery. The events featured merchandise, archival visuals and live appearances by Jay‑Z and his daughter Blue Ivy, who drew attention with a high‑ponytail braid and the Roc‑hand sign.

Roc Nation also partnered with Google Maps to launch an interactive tour of 29 New York City locations pivotal to Jay‑Z’s career—recording studios such as Jungle City and The Hit Factory, venues like the Apollo Theater and Madison Square Garden, and personal sites including the Marcy Houses and the original Roc‑A‑Fella headquarters.

A fashion component of the celebration includes a limited‑edition Roc‑A‑Fella Nike Air Force 1 Low preview and a Mitchell & Ness collection that reference the album’s imagery, with special packaging for the sneaker. The anniversary culminates in three concerts at Yankee Stadium on July 10‑12, with additional shows planned for Paris and Los Angeles.
