Jay‑Z concluded his three‑night Yankee Stadium residency, marking the 30th anniversary of his debut album Reasonable Doubt and the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint. The final night featured a star‑studded lineup that included Beyoncé, Usher, Pharrell, and many others.

During the closing show, Rihanna made an unexpected appearance, joining Jay‑Z for their 2009 hit “Run This Town” and then performing her solo single “B*tch Better Have My Money.” She addressed the crowd, saying she felt “rusty” after a long hiatus from live shows. The performance was the first major U.S. appearance since her 2023 Super Bowl halftime show and sparked widespread online discussion.

The concert was delayed by about four hours after a security breach forced the venue to close its gates, but the show eventually went on to a crowd of roughly 45,000 fans. Rihanna’s appearance highlighted her continued cultural influence and fueled speculation about future music releases.
