Jazan health official inaugurates mobile eye clinic

Dr. Awaji Al-Naami, Director General of the Ministry of Health branch in the Jazan region, has inaugurated the ‘Ain Mobile Eye Clinic’ project. The initiative is implemented by the Ain Ophthalmology Association and funded by the Noura Al-Malahi Endowments.

The project aims to improve medical and therapeutic services for beneficiaries in the region, specifically facilitating access to eye care in remote and high-need areas. The mobile clinic will provide diagnostic and treatment services to ensure sustainable eye healthcare.

During the launch ceremony, which included officials from the health and charitable sectors, a presentation highlighted the Ain Ophthalmology Association’s international humanitarian medical work in Sudan. The event also featured success stories from patients who regained their sight through the association’s services.
