Jazz and iTecknologi partner to launch Drivver ride-hailing platform

Jazz and iTecknologi have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch Drivver, an integrated ride-hailing platform in Pakistan. The service aims to combine mobility, connectivity, and digital financial services into a single ecosystem, offering transportation options via cars, motorcycles, and rickshaws.

A standout feature of the platform is that riders and drivers using the Jazz network can book and manage rides without consuming their mobile data. This initiative is intended to lower barriers for students, gig workers, and drivers who may be sensitive to data costs.

Through JazzCash, the platform will facilitate digital payments to increase transaction transparency. Additionally, the service seeks to promote financial inclusion by helping cash-based drivers establish a digital financial footprint, potentially granting them access to microfinance and other formal financial products.
