Jazz Area Metropolitana celebrates 10th anniversary with Venice region concerts

The Jazz Area Metropolitana (JAM) festival will celebrate its tenth anniversary with a series of six concerts held between September 4 and October 23, 2026. The event will take place across five municipalities within the Venice metropolitan area, specifically in Santa Maria di Sala, Scorzè, Spinea, Dolo, and Mirano.

Under the theme ‘I colori del jazz’ (The colors of jazz), the lineup includes the Trentino quartet MYND, Swiss singer-songwriter Lea Maria Fries, singer Perla Palmieri, drummer Giacomo Ganzerli, the Ensemble Due Fiumi—composed of young musicians from Veneto's jazz conservatories—and double bassist Roberto Bonati.

Artistic director Nicola Fazzini noted that the milestone reflects years of collaboration between municipalities to create a widespread cultural project that connects people and territories through high-quality art. In addition to the performances, the festival will continue its educational mission by hosting musical workshops for children in local municipal libraries.
