Jazz Benefit Concerts in Lazio Support SLA Research
The Tuscia in Jazz for SLA series continues its summer program in the Lazio region, pairing live performances with fundraising for spinal‑muscular atrophy (SLA) research. On 10 August 2026, the natural setting of Lago di Vico in Caprarola will host “Tandem – Il cielo è pieno di stelle”, featuring trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso and pianist Julian Oliver Mazzariello in a tribute to the late Pino Daniele. The concert is free to the public and aims to raise funds for SLA research through regional grants.
Earlier, on 3 August, the series partnered with the Acrobazie Letterarie festival at the Balletti Park Hotel in San Martino al Cimino. The evening opened with the presentation of Jonis Bascir’s book “Il jazz è morto!? Ipotesi per una musica nuova”, followed by a joint performance with guitarist Fabio Zeppetella under the project name GezCleb. The events are part of a broader itinerary that will return to Soriano nel Cimino on 7 August for a solo piano recital by young Turkish talent Hakan Başar.
