Jazz clubs in Biella and Ravenna announce autumn concert series

Several Italian jazz clubs are launching their autumn programming with upcoming performances.

At the Biella Jazz Club, saxophonist Tommy Mauri is scheduled to perform on October 14 with his quintet. Mauri, a winner of the SIAE ‘Per chi Crea’ award, performs a blend of Italian singer-songwriter traditions with jazz, funk, and R&B. Other upcoming dates at the venue include a performance by pianist Davide Calvi on October 20 and American keyboardist Frank McComb on October 26.

In Ravenna, the Duomo Jazz Club is reopening its season at L’Etoile. The series begins with a tribute to John Coltrane, performed by saxophonist Fabio Petretti alongside Matteo Zaccherini, Tiziano Negrello, and Manuel Giovannetti. A second event on October 23 will focus on new jazz generations, featuring a duo of Riccardo Tramontani on saxophone and Marco Pierfederici on piano.
