Guadalajara hosts Jazz Guadalajara and Ke Kaña festivals in November

Guadalajara will host two major cultural events this November. The XV edition of the Jazz Guadalajara cycle will take place at the Teatro Auditorio Buero Vallejo on November 5, 12, 19, and 26. The programming includes a tribute to Bebo Valdés by pianist Cucurucho Valdés, a tribute to John Coltrane, and performances by Grammy-nominated singer Michael Mayo.

Additionally, the 13th edition of the Ke Kaña Festival will be held on November 7 at Espacio TYCE. Organized by the Super 8 Cultural Association, this non-profit event features a diverse lineup including VVV [Trippin’you], Bernal, Ortopedia Técnica, and La Rate Timide. The festival integrates music, art, and solidarity initiatives, such as exhibitions from the Fundación Amanecer and fundraising for environmental recovery through Somos Muriel.

Both events aim to enrich the local cultural landscape, supporting independent music and emerging talent through various formats including concerts, exhibitions, and film screenings.
