Jazz festivals announced for Ingolstadt and Neumarkt

Several jazz festivals are scheduled in Germany, featuring diverse musical programs. The Ingolstädter Jazztage will take place from November 7 to 14, curated by artistic director Wolfgang Haffner. The event includes a grand opening at the Stadttheater featuring the Stromlos Jugend Bigband, the presentation of the Jazzförderpreis, and various concerts ranging from church services to grand performances by artists such as the All-Star-Quartett Landgren/Wollny/Danielsson/Haffner and The Notwist.

Additionally, the 20th Neumarkter Jazzweekend is set for October 16 to 18, 2026. This event serves as the launch for the city of Neumarkt’s new concert series, ‘Klangraum – Töne, Stile, Texte’. The weekend will feature performances including the duo ‘Piaf Piazzolla Paier’, the ‘LACRIMOSA’ concert, and a family-oriented ‘Swingin’ Kids’ session by the NUEJAZZ-Combo.
