The 2026 Jazz in the Park Competition is taking place in Parcul Central, Cluj-Napoca, featuring a diverse array of musical styles including afrobeat, broken beat, hip-hop, and electronic jazz.

The competition selected 12 finalists from 306 entries representing 50 different countries. Early performers included projects such as FOLT from Romania, ALSOGOOD Quartet from Italy, DUK from the Netherlands, and Javotte from France. Subsequent competition days featured acts like the Giuseppe Malinconico Trio, Equinox Quintet, AMPHITRIO, Creature., and Anton de Bruin.

The event concludes with a special guest performance by the Italian band JEMMA, the previous year's grand prize winner, following the official awards ceremony.
