Jazz performances held in Positano and Roccella

Various jazz performances took place across Italy during late August. In Positano, Walter Ricci performed a successful concert at Spiaggia Grande. The event, which was open to the public, featured a repertoire blending international jazz with Neapolitan roots, including popular tracks such as ‘Ue’ and ‘Tarantella Jazz’.

Meanwhile, the 46th edition of the Roccella Jazz Festival continued at the Teatro al Castello. The second evening of the festival featured the Danish group Sunbörn, known for fusing jazz, afrobeat, and electronic music, followed by an Italian performance by Karima. Karima’s set, part of the ‘Soulville’ project, explored American musical traditions ranging from gospel and soul to Broadway classics.
