JazzAlguer announces duo concert in Alghero

The JazzAlguer festival returns to the Poco Loco jazz club in Alghero on September 18 at 22:30. The fourteenth event in the series will feature the “Live Duo Concert” performed by singer Emily Braden and pianist Misha Piatigorsky.

Braden, a winner of the “Best of the Best” Jazzmobile Vocal Competition, is noted for a style that blends traditional jazz with soul. Piatigorsky, a Russian-American pianist, is recognized for a cinematic approach to the keyboard. The duo is expected to perform modern, improvisational reinterpretations of classics from the American Songbook.
