Kendrick shared a series of Instagram Stories containing photographs of a swollen and bruised lip, stating, “The day Rick busted my lip and the day I left.” She further described being treated like a “punching bag” and urged other women to prioritize their safety and leave abusive situations.

The allegations have drawn significant reactions from public figures. Rapper 50 Cent commented on the seriousness of the claims, stating, “I’d laugh at him, but domestic violence is not a joke.” Conversely, Tia Kemp, the mother of Ross’s son and his former partner, has publicly disputed the claims, suggesting Kendrick may have injured herself.

Kendrick later provided a status update, stating she is “OK” and has been processing the incident. Ross has not yet issued a formal public response to the accusations.
