JB Gill receives honorary fellowship from King's College London
Singer and former JLS member JB Gill, 39, was awarded an honorary fellowship by King's College London. He returned to the university, where he once studied theology, and described the accolade as a "once in a lifetime experience" and an honour. Gill highlighted his gratitude to the institution and reflected on his career, noting his work as a broadcaster and farmer and his support for charities such as the RSPCA and Farms For City Children. The ceremony took place at London’s Royal Festival Hall, where he was accompanied by his family.
The fellowship recognises both Gill’s strong ties to the college and his advocacy for education, social issues and environmental awareness.
