Júbilo Iwata apologizes for selling expired beverages at stadium

Júbilo Iwata has issued an apology after discovering that expired bottled apple juice was sold at its stadium during a J2 League match against Tokushima Vortis on August 22. The products were sold at the stadium's food and beverage outlet, ‘Café Kalon’.

The expired beverages had a best-before date of August 17, 2026. The club is currently investigating the total number of units sold and the cause of the oversight.

Júbilo Iwata has requested that any attendees who purchased the product contact the club with their receipts or purchase history. As a preventative measure, the club conducted a re-inspection of all inventory expiration dates at all food outlets prior to the U-21 match against Kawasaki Frontale on August 23. The club stated it will review its product management and verification systems to prevent recurrence.
