JBL announces Pulse 6 premium portable speaker

JBL is set to debut the Pulse 6, a premium portable speaker, at the Audio Video Show 2026 in Warsaw. The device features a 360-degree light show integrated into its casing and a new illuminated handle, with lighting effects that can be customized via the JBL One app.

To enhance audio performance, the speaker utilizes AI Sound Boost technology to analyze audio signals in real-time, optimizing dynamics and minimizing distortion. The hardware includes a 30 W RMS woofer and a 10 W RMS tweeter. It supports Bluetooth 6.0, Auracast for connecting multiple speakers, and lossless audio playback via USB-C.

Designed for versatility, the Pulse 6 includes a ‘Sunset Mode’ that gradually dims lights to warm orange tones while lowering volume. It can also function as a nightlight through a double-tap gesture on the casing. The device carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and offers up to 12 hours of battery life.
