JBL launches Quantum 950 headset with QuantumENGINE spatial‑audio software

American audio company JBL introduced its new QuantumENGINE platform, a software suite that lets gamers personalize sound, microphone settings and 3‑D spatial audio. The system offers custom EQ curves, Smart EQ presets for different game genres, AI‑driven noise reduction and RGB lighting control.

QuantumENGINE works with compatible JBL headsets, most notably the wireless Quantum 950. The headset features 50 mm carbon‑fiber drivers, JBL Quantum Spatial Sound with head‑tracking 3‑D audio, active noise cancellation, a cardioid boom mic and dual connectivity via 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.3. Together, the software and hardware aim to deliver a more precise and immersive gaming experience.
