JBL unveils PartyBox Ultimate 2 with 1,500W power and AI sound

JBL has unveiled the PartyBox Ultimate 2, its most powerful party speaker to date. Designed for large indoor and outdoor events, the system delivers 1,500 watts of power, representing a 36% increase over the previous generation.

The device features a redesigned acoustic architecture consisting of two professional PEN tweeters with acoustic horns, two 5-inch mid-range drivers, and two 10-inch woofers. To maintain sound quality at high volumes, the speaker utilizes ‘AI Sound Boost’ technology, which analyzes audio in real-time to optimize performance and minimize distortion.

Key innovations include a built-in touchscreen integrated into the volume controller, allowing users to manage music, light shows, and party games without a smartphone. The speaker also supports ‘EasySing AI Vocal Removal’ for karaoke functionality. Connectivity options are extensive, including Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth LE Audio, Auracast, AirPlay 2, and various streaming services like Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect.

The PartyBox Ultimate 2 is expected to be available in markets such as France starting October 6, 2026, with a suggested retail price of 1,599 euros.
