JC Chasez: The career evolution of the former *NSYNC vocalist

JC Chasez, a former lead vocalist of the pop group *NSYNC, has transitioned from mainstream pop stardom toward songwriting, production, and musical theater. Following the group's hiatus in 2002, Chasez released his solo debut, Schizophrenic, in 2004. While the album did not reach the commercial heights of his former group, it established his presence in the pop and R&B genres.

Chasez has since focused on behind-the-scenes work, including serving as a judge on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. He has also collaborated with composer Jimmy Harry on a musical project titled Playing with Fire, inspired by Frankenstein, which aims for a potential stage production.
